Today I present to you a great American photographer. She is an iconic figure who has forced people to protest, shout and admire her work. She has status and respect of movie stars and big industry designers. From Disney themes to well known movie scenes, this artist and her visionary photography has capture beauty and fashion like no other. Today I present to you Annie Leibovitz.

I've always admired your expressive photography, capturing the essence of a person, a situation. Always liked the one of Keith Richards, sprawled shirt open sitting in a chair, just about to ooze of it... shot during a break, in there 1972 tour, with Stevie Wonder as warm up. I saw them twice on the same day in Toronto. Humid as hell; and no wonder Keith's fatique was not just the Jack Daniels. I recall your 1st Rolling Stones work. Great. I wish I still had the first few magazines.
ReplyDeleteI used to photograph old blues guys at coffee house gigs to concerts, for a Toronto Blues Magazine in 1974.
Take care. Marvelous career you've had. A pleasure to see these. I've touched the tip of your vast photographic vaults. Thank you for sharing Annie.
